- Donnie O. Payne, 53, of Louisville, Ill., passed away at 8:26 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham, Ill.Born July 23, 1951 in Effingham, Ill., he was the son of Maurice O. and Arlene (Stipp) Payne.He was employed at Peerless in Effingham and was of the Christian faith. Survivors include: his mother Arlene Hurford of Louisville, Ill.; three sons, Donnie E. Payne of Louisville, Ill., Dustin E. Payne of Lyons, and Derek Payne of Linton; two daughters, Delisa Nicole Payne of Linton and Brenda Payne of Bloomfield; one grandson Bret Payne of Linton; two brothers, Freddie L. and his wife Mary Payne of Iola, Ill. and Glenn and his wife Sybil Payne of Beaver, Okla.; and five sisters, Terry Sue Fancher of Farina, Ill., Marilyn Perry of Mansfield, Ohio, Alice Guttierez of Effingham, Ill., Ramona Kinkelaar of St. Louis, Mo., and Angela Payne of Louisville, Ill. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father Maurice, a sister Audrey and a half-brother Laren. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora, Ill. Burial will be in Oskaloosa Cemetery, Xenia, Ill.
