- Mrs. Bertha Cook, 70, of Noble, passed away at the home of her son Robert Burgess, in Madison, IL, Monday morning after a lingering illness.
She is survived by her husband Charles Cook of Noble, one son Robert Burgess of Madison, a granddaughter, Mrs. Mary Ellen Sturdwant of Madison, four sisters and one brother.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Noble Christian church with Rev. James Irby officiating. Burial in Noble Cemetery.
