Earned The Bronze Star and Purple Heart Medals, and was otherwise entitled to The American Campaign Medal, The European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with at least three bronze battle stars, and the WWII Victory Medal. Buried with honors at Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Henri-Chapelle, Belgium. Honored also at the WWII Memorial in Flora, Illinois.
