Notes: Burton E. Butler, son of George and Beulah Butler, deceased was born in German township, near Olney, November 26, 1877, and after a three day illness passed away May 16, 1935, aged 57 years, 5 months and 20 days. Mr. Butler had lived in Olney for the past eleven years. He was married to Glenn Bauman, of Bonpas, March 17, 1900. To this union three children were born. He professed faith in Jesus Christ over thirty years ago and with his wife united with the Asbury M.E. church. He leaves to mourn his great loss two daughters, Mrs. June Nease, of Claremont, and Mrs. Jean Fatheree of Olney; one son Trall George Butler, of the U.S. Navy; seven grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Bertha Frost, of Olney; one niece, Mrs. Maretta N. Baldwin, of St. Louis; one uncle, Warren Musgrove of Cimarron, Kan.; one aunt, Philena Essenger, of Grant, New Mexico, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was liked by all who knew him and the many beautiful floral offerings were tokens of that friendship. Funeral services were held at the West Main Street Christian church by Rev. A.O. Jacobs.
