Kenneth A. Richardson, 68, of Noble, died at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2011, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Cremation rites were accorded. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with Reverend Father Mark Stec officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Richardson was born August 15, 1942, in Noble, the son of John and Allene (Burton) Richardson. He married Edith Helen Stark on April 11, 1964. She preceded him in death on November 29, 2008.

He was a carpenter.

Mr. Richardson is survived by his daughter, Renee Johnson, of Noble; daughter, Nicole Underwood and her husband, Andy, of Newton; daughter, Shallene Taylor and her husband, Chad, of Olney; three grandchildren, Katie and Allison Underwood and Cory Johnson; sister, Pat Beal, of Noble; brother, Gene Richardson, of Noble; brother, Jerry Richardson, of Noble; brother, Jim Richardson, of Olney; brother, Bart Richardson, of Noble; brother, Harold Richardson, of Cambridge, Ohio; sister, Eva Maroon, of Chatham; sister, Ginger Harper, of Noble; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Allene Richardson, brothers, Ike and Ronnie Richardson, and sister, Linda Harris.

Kenneth married Stark, Edith Helen on 11 Apr 1964. Edith (daughter of STARK, Delbert and Hinterscher, Theresa Rosina) was born on 22 Feb 1943 in Richland County, Illinois; died on 29 Nov 2008 in Baxter Regional Medical Center, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas; was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Wendelin, Clay County, Illinois. Notes:

Edith Helen Richardson, 65, of Passport, died at 1:49 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2008, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Mrs. Richardson was born on February 22, 1943, in Richland County, the daughter of Delbert and Theresa Rosina (Hinterscherer) Stark. She married Kenneth Richardson on April 11, 1964. He survives.

She was a retired teacher and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband, Kenneth Richardson; daughters, Renee Johnson and her husband, Wade, of Dallas, Texas, Nicole Underwood and her husband, Andy, of Noble, and Shalene Taylor and her husband, Chad, of Olney; and three grandchildren, Katie and Allison Underwood and Cory Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Alice Herdes.

Visitation was held at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin. Services were at the church with Rev. Father David Braun officiating.

Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery in Wendelin. Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
