She is a former member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Hamel, Ill. A member of St. Pauls Golden Agers, and a member of the V.F.W. Aux. Post 1241 Staunton, Ill. Before her husband passed they did volunteer work at Hitz and Hampton Homes of Alhambra, Ill. for 8 years.
