    Notes:

    Henry came to now Richland County, Illinois in 1836. Bought Congress land three miles south of Olney, Richland County, Illinois. He lived on this land until 1853, when he returned to Greene County, Indiana. In 1855 he returned to Richland County, Illinois and lived on the Bonpas River, southeast of Olney, Richland County, Illinois.

    Henry was active in business in Olney. He developed the "Harmon Addition" in the southeastern part of the city. Harmon Avenue is a few blocks south of the railroad, runs east and west, off Whittle Avenue. Maple Dale Cemetery was part of the Harmon Addition. Henry's father and mother, Daniel and Mary Elliott are buried there.
