Evidentily Issac who grew up in Cork Ireland as a member of the conquering elite could not reconcile the oppression of the native Irish with his religious belifes and he emmigrated to the English colony of Penn. which was known for its liberalism and pacifism.

In 1653 he settled in Cork Ireland and soon brought over an English bride of an acceptable religious sect.
