He moved with his parents to Wayne county, when a small boy and the remainder of his life has been spent in Indian Prairie township.

At an early age he united with the Cisne Christian church and lived a faithful Christian life.

Died:
John Spitzner, well known Indian Prairie township farmer, passed away September 29, 1943 at his home west of Cisne, having been in failing health several months. He was aged 67 years, three months and 26 days.
