Earned the American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, and the Philippine Liberation Medal. Honorably discharged as a Seaman First Class on July 1, 1946 at the Naval Personnel Separation Center, Great Lakes, Illinois.
