    He was a retired Postmaster in Grayville and worked part-time at Rural King in Olney for the past few years. He was a member of Clay City United Methodist Church. He previously worked at Bower Feed Mill, was a Postal Carrier in Flora, a Postal Supervisor in Centralia, and a Postmaster in Bonnie.

    His favorite hobby was gardening, as you can tell by looking at his pantry. He also loved studying the Gospel. J.R. volunteered often, when he could, by giving blood. He was just one pint short of 25 gallons in his lifetime.
