William Garrott Barker, Sr., 64, of 118 E. 8th St. SE, Clay City, was dead on arrival at Clay County Hospital at 10:55 p.m. Monday.

He was born Sept. 23, 1906 in Ingraham. He married Kathryn Gambriel Oct. 7, 1945 in Sailor
Springs.

Surviving is his wife, Kathryn; also a son, William Jr. of Flora; three brothers, Russell of Clay City, Eliza of Skokie, and Lawrence of Indiana; four sisters, Mrs. Della Thomann of Olney, Mrs.
Maime Kessler of Olney, Mrs. Caddie Hall of Urbana, and Mrs. Frankie Laycoax of Chicago.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 488, Clay City, American Legion at Sailor Springs.

Services will be at the Clay City Chapel of the Cardascio-Easley Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home and Masonic services will be held.

Full military services will be rendered at the Clay City Cemetery.
