    Thomas M. Heath, 46, of Rochester died at 12:50 p.m. Friday at Memorial Medical Center.

    He was born Sept. 26, 1946, in Wichita, Kan., the son of Harry Heath and Annie Cherry Heath. He married Barbara L. Tibbs in 1971 in Springfield.

    He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Anne Heath, in 1980.

    He was a 1982 graduate of Sangamon State University.
    A resident of Rochester for 20 years, Mr. Heath was a member of Rochester Christian Church, where he served as a deacon. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

    Surviving are his wife, Barbara L.; two daughters, Kimberly Jo and Stacey Lynn Heath, both of Rochester; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Heath of Caseyville; two brothers, Carl of Mount Pulaski and Paul of Kansas City, Kan.; three sisters, Bea Butler of Mascoutah, Sue Spring of Mahomet, and June Grindley of Farmer City; several nieces and nephews.

    Services at Rochester Christian Church, with the Rev. Tim Dally officiating. Burial in Rochester Cemetery. Wilson Park Funeral Home, Rochester, is in charge of arrangements.

    ROCHESTER, IL - Barbara Len Heath, 65, passed away at 8:50 a.m. on Sept. 22, 2015, at St. John's Hospice.

    She was born July 18, 1950, to the late Charles and Maxine Tibbs. She married Thomas M. Heath in Springfield, Ill., in October of 1971.

    Barbara was a resident of Rochester, Ill., for 43 years.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, on Jan. 22, 1993; a daughter, Pamela Anne, in 1980; her parents, in-laws, and one brother-in-law.

    Barbara was, in her own words, "happily retired." She enjoyed walking, reading, and spending time socializing with her many friends. Barbara also made many memories while traveling with both her three sisters and her sisters-in-law.

    Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was found in spending time with her daughters and their families. She always had time for a phone call to offer a word of comfort or a listening ear. Barbara loved animals, and had a tender heart for her many pets over the years. She will be greatly missed in the years to come by her family and friends.

    Barbara is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly (Paul) McNally and Stacey (Matt) Egan.; four grandchildren: Andrew Thomas, James Arthur, and William Christopher McNally, and Quinn Harper Egan; three sisters: Linda (Bud) Riley, Rhonda (Myron) Weidner, and Tina Hopson; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

    Barbara's family will greet friends during a visitation from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 25, at Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Rochester, IL.

    A private funeral ceremony for family and close friends will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester, with Pastor Brad Ferris officiating.

    Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.

    86-year-old Clay City resident, Charles H. "Hank" Tibbs died at 3:25 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 30 at his home.

    Charles was born on April 8, 1926 in Fairfield, Illinois, the son of Charlie Tibbs and Camille (Walter). He married Wanda Maxine Murbarger on May 26, 1944 in Wayne City, Illinois.

    Charles was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of Clay City Christian Church.

    He is survived by his wife, Maxine Tibbs; daughter, Linda Riley; daughter, Barbara Heath; daughter, Rhonda Weidner; daughter, Tina Hopson; brothers, John Tibbs, Delbert Tibbs, Robert Tibbs, Tom Tibbs, Ronnie Tibbs and Walter Ray Tibbs; sisters, Laura Mae Wynn, Clidella Graves, Rose Dixon, Marsha Janes and Sandy Rubel; ten Grand kids, fourteen Great Grandkids and one on the way.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, mother, Dorothy Tibbs, brothers, Van Tibbs and Billy Tibbs, sisters Lou Clark and Jeanie Borah, and granddaughter, Pamela Heath.

    Services for Charles H. "Hank" Tibbs were held at the Summers Kistler Funeral Home in Clay City with burial in Clay City Cemetery with full military honors.

    Visitation and a Masonic Service was held at the Summers Kistler Funeral Home in Clay City.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shiners Children's Hospital.

    Wanda Maxine Tibbs, 88, of Clay City, was born on May 17, 1925 in Clay City, Illinois, the daughter of David and Bertha (Patridge) Murbarger. She married Charles "Hank" Tibbs on May 25, 1947 in Kentucky. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2012.

    Maxine liked country music and loved chocolate. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandchildren.

    She is survived by her daughter, Linda Riley; Daughter, Barbara Heath; Daughter, Rhonda Weidner; Daughter, Tina Hopson; Brother, Neil Murbarger; ten Grandkids, 18 Great Grandkids, and several nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Pamela Heath, sister, "Babe 1" Murbarger, sister Cecile Murbarger Staser, and brothers, Opal Murbarger, Rolla Murbarger, Leo Murbarger, John Murbarger, Arkell Murbarger, Carroll Murbarger, Eath Murbarger, and Shelby Murbarger.

    Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 3rd, at 10:30am, at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home, in Clay City; with burial in the Clay City Cemetery.

    Visitation will be Friday, August 2nd, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at the Summers-Kistler Funeral Home, in Clay City.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Clay County.
