HAROLD CARL CUNNINGHAM, 89 of Flora, IL formerly of Rinard, IL passed away at 5:15AM Friday, February 06, 2009 at Clay County Hospital at Flora, IL

Harold was born March 4, 1919 at Rinard, IL to Clyde and Audra (Meador) Cunningham. He married Erma B. McGrew December 24, 1937 at Flora, IL. and she survives.

Harold was a retired farmer. He was a WWII veteran and also a member of the Christian Temple Church of Rinard, IL; Lifetime member of American Legion and VFW of Flora, IL; and had been a 4-H leader for 15 years.

Harold is survived by his wife Erma of Flora, IL; a daughter Nancy Lee Cornwell of Flora, IL; four sons – Frank J. Cunningham of Brandon, FL; Jim F. Cunningham (& his wife Judy) of Corona, CA; John R. Cunningham of Bossier City, LA; Joe E. Cunningham (& his wife Dorothy) of Breese, IL; and a sister-in-law Catherine Cunningham of Flora, IL. Also surviving are 13 Grandchildren; 28 Great Grandchildren and two Great-Great Granchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother Glenn, a Step Grandchild Tim Carrell and a Great-Great Grandchild, two daughters-in-law Nancy Sue and Carol Cunningham and a son-in-law Garland Cornwell.

Funeral services for Harold Carl Cunningham will be 1:00PM Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, IL. Friends may call 5-7PM Friday, February 13, 2009.

Burial will be at Willow Branch Cemetery at Rinard, IL. There will be military rites at the graveside.

Memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
