    Dean W. Faeth, 82, Rockford, died Mon., Dec. 5, 1994, in Rockford Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born Nov. 23, 1912, in Bible Grove, IL, the son of Julius and Stacy Faeth. Married Vivian Burd in 1942; she died in 1956. Married Lillian Milburn on July 18, 1957, in Rockford. Employed 38 years as an agent for State Farm Insurance Co. Veteran of World War II, U.S., serving as U.S. Air Force staff sergeant. Member of Centennial United Methodist Church. Master Mason 50 years in Dedrick, IL and member of Civilian Conservation Corp. He was an avid hunter, gardener and fisherman.

    survivors include his wife, Lillian, daughters, Marjorie (Edward) Faeth-Door and Gyl (Tom) Faeth-Miller; two sisters, Genell Given and Mona Richars; Also predeceased by parents and one brother, Warren Faeth.

    Military Service:
    Entered active service as a draftee on April 22, 1942 at Scott Field, Illinois. Selected for The Air Corps, completed basic training, qualified in the military occupational specialty of clerk typist (405) and attended the administration clerk service school. Served stateside with the 216th Army Air Forces Base Unit at Wendover Field, Utah. Earned The Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal and The WWII Victory Medal. Honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant on December 13, 1945 at the Separation Center, Lowry Field, Colorado.
