    Notes:

    Charles W. Gray, 92, of Sumner, father of Mrs. G. Vern (Georgia) Petty of Olney, died Sunday at the Richland Memorial Hospital.

    Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Central Christian Church at Sumner with Brother Henry Boyles in charge. Interment will be in Sumner City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sivert Funeral Home at Sumner after 6 p.m. today.

    Mr. Gray was born April 7, 1880 in Marion County, Kentucky and came to Lawrence County as a young man. He was a retired farmer and for many years a resident of northwest of Sumner.

    His wife, Mary, preceded him in death.

    He was a member of the Central Christian Church at Sumner.

    He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Juanita Stadge of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Evelyn Streamer of Boulder, Colorado, and Mrs. Georgia Petty of Olney; and two sons, George W. Gray of Sumner and John R. Gray of Route 1, Sumner. A sister, Mrs. Georgia Wagner of Lawrenceville and 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, also survive.
