Services were at the Cardascio Funeral Home, Flora tor Mrs. Delores E. Flexter 53, Flatonia, Texas. She died March 10 at the Prihoda Rent House, Flatonia. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora. The Bro. Thomas Phelps Jr. officiated.

Mrs. Flexter was born June 9, 1923 in Gastonia., Ala (?) to Oscar and Viola Parker. In 1972 in El Paso, Texas, she married Ora Flexter, formerly of the Flora area.

She is survived by sons, Edgar C. Bates III, Singapore, Gary Richard Bates, no address known, Barry Dean Bates, Fort Benning, Ga., and Stephen Wayne Bates, Linnville, Tenn.; daughters, Mrs. Janice Bailey, Chapel Hill, Tenn. and Mrs. Linda Skinner, Brementon, Wash ; a brother, James Parker, Gastonia, Ala.; and sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Noble, Mrs. Judy Hammrick, and Miss Margaret Boyd, Gastonia; and five grandchildren.
