Phillip Neil and David Simmons Anderson were stillborn Tuesday evening Feb. 17, 1981 at Richland Memorial Hospital. They were infant twin sons of Terry and Betty Anderson, Olney.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Crest Haven Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Gardner presiding.

Survivors include the parents, Terry and Betty Anderson, Olney' a brothers Matthew and a sister Jenniffer, both at home; and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Beryl Pittman and Mr. and Mrs. Neil Anderson, both of Olney; and several aunts and uncles.

Notes:

Terry Anderson, 28, of Olney died Thursday, May 5, 1983 in rural Olney.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Summers Funeral Home, Olney, with visitation 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Claremont.

Mr. Anderson was born in Lawrencevill, son of Neil and Nada Dziuk Anderson. He was a partner in J & A Auto Repair, Olney.

Surviving are his parents of Olney; brother, Richard of Olney; sister, Mrs. Tom (Debra) Adams of Elsberry, Mo.

His wife, three sons and two daughters preceded him in death.

Notes:

Betty Anderson, 28, and her three children, Jennifer, Matthew and Katie all died in a fire at their Rt. 2 mobile home Sunday morning Dec. 12, 1982.

Joint services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Jones presiding. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial for all four is in Crest Haven Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was born Jan. 29, 1954, to Byrl and Myra (Hanes) Pittman. They survive. She married Terry Anderson Feb. 24, 1973. He also survives. A brother, Robert Pittman, Cincinnati, also survives.

She was preceded in death by stillborn twin boys.

Beryle Pittman, 70, Olney, IL, died Wednesday, February 7, 1990, in Gulf Coast Hospital, Panama City, FL.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at Zirkle Funeral Chapel, Olney, with pastor Bob Logan officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park with full military graveside rites.

Mr. Pittman was born September 19, 1919 at Rinard, the son of Oscar and Mary (Simmons) Pittman. He married Myra Hanes on October 10, 1948 in Henderson, KY and she survives.

He retired after 30 years as a postal clerk in Olney and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Olney. He was also a member of Richland American Legion Post No. 30, Olney Elks Lodge No. 926 BPOE. He was a 4 1/2 year Army veteran, having served at Guadalcanal.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Myra, are one son Robert Pittman, Fairfield, Ohio; one sister, Freida Mae Miller, Arcadia, FL; a sister-in-law Carrie Pittman, St. Petersburg, FL; two brothers-in-law, Vernon Hanes, Flora and Kenneth Hanes, Olney; two grandsons, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Anderson, two brothers, Paul Maynard Pittman and Leo Pittman and five grandchildren.

Beryle married Hanes, Myra. Myra was born on 12 Dec 1910 in Richland County, Illinois; died on 25 Jun 2010 in Burgin Manor Nursing Home, Olney, Richland County, Illinois; was buried in Crest Haven Memorial Park, Claremont, Richland County, Illinois. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Myra Pittman, 99, of Olney died at 2:25 p. m. Friday June 25, 2010, at Burgin Manor in Olney. Services will be held at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Scott Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park in rural Claremont. Mrs. Pittman was born Dec. 12, 1910, in Richland County, the daughter of John and Bertha (Buss) Hanes. She married Beryle Pittman in 1948. He preceded her in death Feb. 7, 1990. She has worked as bookkeeper for Hahn Motor Sales. She was affiliated with First Methodist Church in Olney. Mrs. Pittman is survived by her son, Robert Pittman and his wife, Carol, of Fairfield, Ohio and grandchildren, Brian and Christopher Pittman. She was preceded in death by her parents,John and Bertha Hanes; husband, Beryle Pittman; daughter, Betty; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew and Katie; and two brothers, Vernon and Kenneth.
