    Olney, Ill. — Linda Kay Lomas, 66, of Olney, died at 12:38 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

    Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Mike Baker officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

    Mrs. Lomas was born October 8, 1943, in Clay City, the daughter of Clayson and Nella Grace (Luke) McDowell.

    She was a member of Olney Eagles Lodge and American Legion Post. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

    Mrs. Lomas is survived by her son, Daniel Lomas and his wife, Lisa, of Newton; daughters, Glenda Clark and her husband, Bryon, of New Lenox, Roberta "Bobbi" Lomas, of Olney; and Dawn Campbell and her husband, Thomas, of Olney; brothers, Glenn McDowell, of St. Joseph, Mo., and Ronald McDowell and his wife, Wanda, of Flora; sisters, Barbara House, of Olney, Nella Dilley and her husband, Woody, of Olney, and Leona Disandro, of Moscow, Idaho; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayson and Nella Grace McDowell, one brother and five sisters.
