    Naomi Jo 'Jo' Fowler, born Naomi Jo Cain, June 18, 1914 in Loco, OK. Died Nov. 29, 1990 in Okla. City where she had lived most of her life. She graduated from Marlow High School and attended the University of Oklahoma. She retired from Tinker Air Force Base. Jo was an active member of the First Christian Church.
    She is survived by her daughter Lela Townsend of New York City and son-in-law, Don Townsend , two nephews Richard and Charles Cain and a niece Frankie Jean Sheen and their respective families.
    There will be a memorial service at the First Christian Church at 36th & N. Walker. The interment will be in Loco, OK.

    Notes:

    Gladys Ada Travis, 79, Clay City, died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Clay County Hospital.

    Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Cardascio Funeral Home in Clay City with Charles Allen presiding. Visitation is Thursday from 6-9 p.m. Burial is in Clay City Cemetery.

    Mrs. Travis was born Sept. 27, 1901 in Wayne County to Henry Hudson and Lucinda Jane (Bricker) Taylor.

    She married Albert Travis March 2, 1937 in Henderson, Ky. He died Nov. 26, 1970.

    She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clay City.

    She is survived by a son, James Taylor, Lombard; four daughters, Mrs. Nayade Cain, Marie Travis, and Mrs. John (Margaret) Milligan, all of Clay City, and Mrs. Marlin (Maxine) Burroughs, Cisne; two sisters, Mrs. Mayne Staser, St. Louis, Mo. and Mrs. Vera Yauch, Flora; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her parents and one son.
