    80-year-old Cisne resident, Bennie Robert "Bob" Case, died at 5:05 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.

    Bob was born May 13, 1930 at Johnsonville, IL to Arthur Buel and Martha Gertrude (Long) Case. He married Mary Lou Kirkpatrick March 9, 1953 at Fairfield, IL and she survives.

    Bob retired in 1991 as a Mechanical Engineer for the North Wayne School District. After retirement, he worked part time at Hosselton Funeral Home. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and served 1951 – 1955 during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Blue Point Free Will Baptist Church, Cisne American Legion, and the Central Illinois Harley-Davidson Dresser Club FLH-FLT. He was a true friend to everyone. Bob belonged to The Weakenders Camping Club and enjoyed camping with his friends. He loved his family and treasured the time with them.

    Surviving are his wife Mary Lou Case of Cisne; two daughters, Terry Lynn Atwood of Mount Erie and Teresa Lee Walker of Cisne; his mother-in-law, Nora Murphy of Fairfield; five grandchildren and four great-grandsons also survive, along with several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services for Bennie Robert "Bob" Case will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 21, at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne. Burial will be in Cisne Cemetery with full military honors.

    Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 20, at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.

    Memorials may be made to Clay County Home Health, and will be accepted at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.
