    Martha Ann McDowell, 86 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2019. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama the daughter of Eugene and Ann Thomas and moved to Kissimmee in 1983 from Coleman, Alabama. Martha was a homemaker and a christian by faith.

    Martha is survived by her son: Eugene McDonald of St. Cloud, Florida; daughters: Sherry Mollette of Fordville, Kentucky and Renea Brock of Kissimmee, Florida; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Harold McDowell and her son, Ricky McDowell.

    Mrs. Martha A. McDowell will be laid to rest in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Snead, Alabama. Services for Martha Ann McDowell will be conducted through the McRae Funeral Home, 99 Glenda Drive, Boaz, Alabama 35957.

I have been told that my grandfather Charles was helping Gaylord Gill shock wheat when my Grandfather begin the feel ill , the story goes that Gaylord put my grandfather in the back of Gaylords car to take him to the Dr. . Charles died in the back of the car on the way to the Dr. This was told to me when I was a child by my grandmother Florence McDowell."
