Jennie was a very loving mother & grandmother. She moved to Texas to be close to her daughter, son-in-law, and four beautiful grandchildren, and enjoyed being a great grandmother for 6 months. She was a friend to all and took time out for everyone. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed reading, cross stitch and going to Women of Faith every year with her daughter and granddaughters. She will be sadly missed by so many.

Omer Fulk, 64, of Rt. 1, Noble, Ill. passed away this morning at the Richland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by the Summers Funeral Home.

Mr. Fulk was born August 17, 1911, the son of Levi and Zeda McDowell Fulk. He married Ida M. Westfall, April 29 1929 in Noble, Ill.

Mr. Fulk was a retired farmer and a member of the Noble Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Ida; sons, John Fulk of Olney, Kenneth Fulk of Noble; daughters, Evelyn Barthelemy, Pauline Bebee of Olney, and Betty Terburg of Columbus, Ind.

Other survivors are his brothers, Perry Fulk of Olney, Dale and Carl Fulk of Noble; sisters, Eva Gibson and Ina Biehl of Noble, Inez McKinney, Goldie Ridgley and Viola Hayes of Olney; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Fulk was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Linda Fulk and one brother, Vera Fulk.

WEST SALEM, Sept. 2—Woodrow J. McDowell, 37, of near West Salem, died suddenly Sunday afternoon while being rushed by ambulance to the Fairfield hospital. It was believed that he was suffering from meningitis.

Funeral services will be held at the King Funeral Home in West Salem Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock with burial in the Moravian Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Bernita; four children, Leroy, Catherine, Donnie and Ronnie; one sister, Mrs. Lemuel Martin of West Salem; and one brother, Herman McDowell of Saunemin.

Martha Bernita Hart, 61, New Haven, and formerly of West Salem, died at 1:10 p.m. in Carmi Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Davis presiding. Burial will be in Moravian Cemetery.

Mrs. Hart was born Dec. 27, 1919 in Edwards County, the daughter of Ray and Alma (Fryman) Densmore. She married Leo Hart and he survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Larry McDowell, New Wintland, Ind., Ronald and Donald McDowell, both of Elgin; a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Runyon, West Salem; two step-sons, Tom Hart, St. Charles, Larry Hart, Broughton; two step-daughters, Mrs. Debbie York, New Haven, Mrs. Mary Ezell, Olney; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
