Dari G. Curti, 69, of Clay City died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2006, at his home.

Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Clay City. Memorial services will follow immediately at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Brother Jim Thomas officiating.

Mr. Curtis was born on July 20,1937, in Olney, the son of Walter Curtis and Zella (Curtis) Curtis. He married Betty Gray on January 13,1953, in Albion.

He was the owner of Curtis Welding Service.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Curtis, of Olney; two daughters, Linda Gene Sandifar and her husband, John, of Peoria, and Betty Ann Perry and her husband, Gary, of Montrose; son, Dari Steve Curtis and his wife, Rhonda, of Indianapolis, Ind.; three brothers, Leroy Curtis, of Olney, Walter Ray Curtis, of Sumner, and Terry Charles Curtis, of Longview, Texas; and sister, Lois Worstell, of Olney.

Mr. Curtis was born July 7, 1914 in Richland County, the son of Charlie and Carrie (Clark) Curtis. He married Zella V. Curtis and she died October 6, 1987.

He was retired from Ginder construction.

Survivors include sons, Leroy Curtis, Olney; Darrell Curtis, Clay City; Walter R. Curtis, Sumner; Terry Curtis, Longview, Tx.; daughters, Patsy Johnson, West Liberty; Lois Worstell, Olney and Carrie Lane, Olney; one sister, Ruth Marks, Olney; .21 grandchildren, 22 great -grandchildren, two
nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one son, two brothers, one son-in-law and one grandson.

Glayson "Rastus" Gray, 81, died on Friday, Nov. 16, 1990, at 6:39 p.m., at the Flora Nursing Center. Funeral services were Monday at the Hosselton, Bookhout, Engelmeier Funeral Home, Clay City. Burial was in Hanna Cemetery.

Mr. Gray was born on March 4, 1909, in Mt. Erie, the son of William and Elizabeth (Yauch) Gray. He married Kathryn Eula Madding in 1936. She died in 1975.

Surviving are three daughters, Lydia Taylor and Betty Curtis of Clay City, and Dixie Harper of Flora; two sons Robert and David of Flora; one sister, Lydia Graham of Olney; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two children, two step-children, two sisters, on half-sister and three brothers.
