To this union eleven children were born, five preceding her to the better land. She united with the Christian church in 1878 in which she lived a faithful Christian life. She was a kind friend and neighbor and an affectionate companion and mother. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Susie Quakenbush and Mrs. Frankie Hodges; four sons, Truman, Lome, Wash and Emerson Boose; twenty-three grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Aunt Fanny, as we always called her, was a good neighbor and had a pleasant word for everyone, and while it is our loss, it is her gain.

All was done that loving hands and constant attention could do at the time of her death, and the end came finding her ready and willing to go. She often expressed that assurance of a home beyond the sky and often telling her children that she was just patiently waiting for the Lord to call her home to that peaceful rest. The Lord's will be done, and that she is taken from us, we can meet again if we but hold out faithful until the end of life.
