101 | (Handwritten date: July 15, 1950) OBITUARY Harry Dale Habegger, son of Clarence and Naomi Liechty Habegger, was born in Bern [sic], Ind. March 6, 1921. He received his early schooling in the Berne Public Schools and was graduated from Monroe High School in 1940. He was united in marriage to Marjorie Litwiller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Litwiller on April 13, 1941. Two children were born to this union. Harry answered the call to serve his country in April of 1943. He July, 1944 he was sent overseas with the 120th General Hospital and served in New Guinea, the Philippines and Japan. After his discharge in Nov. 1945, he returned to this community and was engaged in farming. In March 1949, he and his family moved to Wheaton, Illinois. In Sept. 1949 he enrolled in the Missionary Technical Course at the Moody Bible Institute. On May 23rd, at 5:20 p.m. Harry went to be with the Lord while pursuing this training. He was also a faithful member of the Evangelical Mennonite Church. Surviving are his wife, Marjorie, Mary Jane, age 7 and Larry, age 5, of Wheaton, Ill.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Habegger; a brother, Otis, a sister, Sherry of this community; a brother, Arvian, pastor of the Crown Point Bible Church, Crown Point, Ind., and a host of other relatives. Harry's life verse is Joshua 1:8-9 (Read). Funeral services were conducted by the Pastor Rev. N. J. Schmucker. Burial was made in the church cemetery. | HABEGGER, Harry Dale (I4794)

He is survived by his wife Olive, four sons, Lee, Earl, Pearl and Harvey of Olney, one daughter Mrs. Frank Wilson of Olney, several grandchildran and great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are in-complete. The body will remain at Olney Funeral Home where friends may call. *"ROBERT LEE HARMON" Robert L. Harmon, 74, passed early Thursday at his home in east Olney after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Olive, 4 sons, Lee, Earl, Pearl and Harvey of Olney, one daughter Mrs. Frank Wilson of Olney, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Church of Christ with Rev Wm. Reed in charge and burial in Mt Pleasant cemetery. "OBITUARY" *Robert Lee Harmon, the son of Andrew and Rebecca Anna Emery Harmon was born April 2 1869 in Bonpas twp. Richland Co. Il. Departed this life May 23rd, 1945, at the age of 76 years, one month, 21 days. In the year of 1890 he was united in marriage to Olive Barlett, and together they spent 54 years of happy married life. To this union were born ten children, Lee, Ida, Earl and Pearl, who are twins, Harvey, Howard, Henry, John, Elza and Raymond.... Howard, Henry, John, Elza and Raymond having preceded him in death. Shortly after his marriage he and his wife became members of the Church of Christ. He lived and died in the Faith of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He was very active in church work as long as his health permitted. He served as an Elder in the Congregation at Olney and Contributed much to its support. Among those that remain to mourn his passing, are his wife, five children, Mrs Frank Wilson, Lee, Earl, Pearl and Harvey, all of Olney, one brother Charley,two sisters Mrs Charley Totten of Noble, and Mrs. William Plumley of Olney, thirty-four grandchildren and eight great-grand children, and many other relatives and friends. | Harmon, Robert Lee (I2446)

107 | ..He attended Four Corners School, walking every day to school through the deep snow in winter. As a youngman he worked at Eastland, Ut. cutting posts, sometimes 100 a day, building fence and helping farm. later he worked around the Yellow Jacket area in the fall loading sacked beans from the thresher and hauling them to the warehouse where the sacks were opened the beans recleaned and resacked. He also worked in the warehouse at Yellow Jacket. ..He married Lois Irene Colwell on February 15, 1946, and started dryland farming. Raising beans and wheat for many years before going into growing alfalfa hay. Dale loved to grow pinto beans and was very successful at it. He worked with his hands and was a good mechanic doing most of his own repair work. In between his farming duties he worked on diesel pumps for the local International Harvester dealer, covering the territory from Durango to Monticello. ..With the help of his brothers, Dale built his own home. He loved to hunt, fish, snowmobile and tease people. He always had a practical joke to play on some unsuspecting victim. He could always tell a hunting or fishing story and was always looking forward to the next hunting season. Dale loved little children and they loved him. ..Dale served on the television board of directors, the telephone company board of directors, and the fire department board of directors. ..After retirement, Dale and Lois had a cabin built at Groundhog and loved the many hours spent there with snowmobiling friends and others. ..Dale was a very respected man in his farming community and his special ways will be missed by all. | Ives, Dale Lee (I31168)

108 | ..The Colwell family lived near Bronson, Kans. until 1936 when they moved to Glasgow, Mont. The following year, they arrived in Yellow Jacket and Lois had lived there ever since, with the exception of the high school years, spent at Bronson High School and Durango High School. Lois also attended Fort Lewis College and received a "Colorado Special War Emergency Certificate for Teaching." She planned to begin teaching at Cahone the fall of 1944, but was deemed to young at the first semester and so, taught the second semester. ..On Feb. 16, 1946, she married Dale L. Ives and became a homemaker, helpmate and sewing expert, winning blue ribbons at the Grange State Sewing contests. She was also a 4-H leader for five years. ..In addition to her pride in gardening and canning, Lois loved to hunt, fish, ride horses and snowmobile.
