10164 Though her recent years were scarred with cancer, she did not allow it to define her. She spent her days with grace and generosity, her strength and beauty growing with every passing day. Tera wore many hats, her favorite of which were "Mommy," "wife," "daughter," "sister," and "friend" and she performed each role with an enthusiasm that could not be feigned or imitated. The loves of her life, Jimmy and Emma, were her pride and joy and she was always willing to share a story or one of the anecdotes that often come with husbands and young children. She made lists, she lost lists, she wholly agreed with her mother's favorite quote of "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail" but was willing to pick up and go if someone was in need, or even just wanted her company. She loved sushi, tween novels, movies based on tween novels, Frye boots, and General Hospital. Tera enjoyed working as a senior paralegal for Dickenson Gilroy, LLC in Alpharetta, Ga., and often boasted of how fortunate she was to work with such a wonderful group of individuals; they felt the same of her.

Tera was a 1995 graduate of Princeton Community High School in Princeton, Ind., and a 1999 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

As a teacher, she is remembered for planning out of the ordinary learning experiences for her students. She was a member of the Illinois Education Association. Lou retired from the classroom following her position in the 4th grade at Noble. After retirement, she embraced her life as a loving “farmer’s wife,” mom, and grandma, who enjoyed being with her family as well as taking many trips with Cecil on their Harley-Davidson Trike, including one especially memorable journey to Kittery, Maine, that took them through the streets of Boston and New York City. THOMASON, Wanda Lou (I47349)

10177 Tina was lovely and kindhearted, a caring wife and mom, and adored spending time with her grandkids. She leaves a lifetime of good family memories, with some of the best spent in the outdoors at the lake, around a bonfire, riding horses and fisshing, and enjoying music. She had worked at U.S. Bank in Flora for nearly 11 years and later at AutoZone. 10179 Tishia and Ora Zimmerman divorced when their son Donnell Zimmerman was a small boy. Donnell and his brother William went to live with their mother Tishia. Tishia met another man after the divorce and was engaged to married. Before they were married, she died of tuberculosis. Donnell was then raised by Tishia's mother until she died, then Tishia's brothers. William was raised by Ora's mother some of the time and also lived with his father Ora and his new wife Flossie.

The impact on Tishia’s two sons was significant to say the least. They both grew up being farmed-out to various relatives. William committed suicide at the age of 49. Donnell married and had 5 children and struggled to provide his kids what he never had (family, holidays, food on the table and shoes on their feet).

Donnell always spoke fondly of his mother. Tishia left a big imprint on a son that lost her when he was only 8 years old.

10181 To this union eleven children were born, five preceding her to the better land. She united with the Christian church in 1878 in which she lived a faithful Christian life. She was a kind friend and neighbor and an affectionate companion and mother. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Susie Quakenbush and Mrs. Frankie Hodges; four sons, Truman, Lome, Wash and Emerson Boose; twenty-three grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Aunt Fanny, as we always called her, was a good neighbor and had a pleasant word for everyone, and while it is our loss, it is her gain.

All was done that loving hands and constant attention could do at the time of her death, and the end came finding her ready and willing to go. She often expressed that assurance of a home beyond the sky and often telling her children that she was just patiently waiting for the Lord to call her home to that peaceful rest. The Lord's will be done, and that she is taken from us, we can meet again if we but hold out faithful until the end of life.
Boose, Elias (I8420)

Beginning when he was a young boy, he took everything apart only to try and put them back together. His siblings mention that their childhood home was without doorknobs because of this passion. This led him to his lifelong hobby of restoring antique cars, the faster the better. As his boyhood friends tell it, days were spent getting into mischief and as adults, his friends would say the same thing.

Tom and Marilyn developed land, built rental properties and managed storage units. They were never far apart.
