He could plan out and often draw his projects on paper, sometimes turning one thing into something new, like the time he made an ambulance into a camper van. He most recently had built a VW Trike. He last operated and retired from Buffingtons Rural Trash. Jim enjoyed fishing and camping, and spending time with family and sharing affection with his pets and cats. He was a proud founding member and owner of Coon Creek Ridge Riders, was a member of A.B.A.T.E. 4398	Imogene Marie Wyman, age 89, of Xenia, Illinois, passed away early Friday morning, February 25, 2022, at Flora Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. She was born April 23, 1932, in Xenia, the daughter of Everett and Helen (Akes) Carrell. Imogene was an avid gardener, spending countless hours canning and making the food that her family would eat throughout the winter. She was especially fond of making and eating canned sweet pickles. She was a member of the Xenia United Methodist Church where she belonged to the ladies sewing group. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, having always made all of her childrens clothing and numerous quilts that she had gifted over the years. She enjoyed working puzzles, crossword puzzles, and word searches. Imogene enjoyed going to community events and listening to music, playing her Baldwin organ, and playing card and board games with her grandkids. She was always the go-to babysitter and cherished memories made while spending time with her kids and grandkids. She is survived by her children: Joyce (Pat) ODonnell of Xenia, Peggy (Randy) Borcherding of Xenia, Jo Ella (D.J.) im, also known to friends as Buff, was often heard jokingly referring to himself a Jack of all trades, master of none. In the past he worked for Case, Holland Truck Stop and Red Rooster, and he also farmed. Jim operated a gas station at one time, and was a lifelong shade tree mechanic, working on and rebuilding on all types of vehicles, equipment, and trailers. He could plan out and often draw his projects on paper, sometimes turning one thing into something new, like the time he made an ambulance into a camper van. He most recently had built a VW Trike.

He last operated and retired from Buffingtons Rural Trash. Jim enjoyed fishing and camping, and spending time with family and sharing affection with his pets and cats. He was a proud founding member and owner of Coon Creek Ridge Riders, was a member of A.B.A.T.E. Illinois Freedom Riders Chapter, and had been a past member of the Bass Club, Flora Eagles, Moose Lodge, and Sons of the American Legion.

Imogene Clark, 94, of Olney, and formerly of Calhoun, died at 10:58 a.m. Saturday August 17, 2013 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 22 at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Bob Patterson and Pastor Eunice Glasser officiating. Burial will be in Calhoun Cemetery.

Imogene Clark was born on February 21, 1919 in Wheatland, Indiana, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Lagle. She married James Andrew Clark and he preceded her in death on June 21, 1970.

Imogene was an artist, she loved to draw and she made silk flower arrangements. Imogene was active in her church and taught bible school for many years. She loved her church family. Imogene was a wonderful lady, she was giving and loving. She enjoyed spending time with her family, whom she loved most of all.

She is survived by her Daughter, Joyce Price and best friend Dave Leaf of Calhoun; Daughter, Dorothy Fawkes of Calhoun; Half-Sister, Martha Haerr of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren, Jim Clark and friend Pam Goss of Calhoun, Lori Macek and husband Jeff of Oklahoma City, OK, Jerry Wayne Price and wife Kathy of Rinard, IL, Donita Byford and husband Bill of Olney, James Price of Olney; Great Grandchildren, J.R. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Wanda Clark, brothers, Billy Lagle and Roy Lagle, sisters, Zola Fitzwater and Beulah Matheson, grandchildren, Don Owen, Lewis Price, and great granddaughter, Gloria Clark.

Imogene L. WINCHESTER, 91, of Flora, died at 7:34 p.m. Monday, Feb 23, 1998, at Flora Pavilion.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with Reverend Tony DYER officiating. Burial will be in Kneff Cemetery in Flora. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. WINCHESTER was born Aug. 21, 1906, in Clay County, the daughter of Eugene and Ella (BLACKLEDGE) STANFORD. She married Earl WINCHESTER Aug. 1, 1931, in Flora. He preceded her in death Sept. 6, 1980.

She was a retired area grade school teacher after teaching over 60 years. She was an 80-year member of Harmony United Methodist Church in Flora and was Young Couples Sunday School teach of the church. She was United Methodist Women 1986 Outstanding Citizen and 1979 Beta Sigma Phi Woman of the Year. She was a member of Eastern Star Flora Rebekah Lodge, Criterian Club, Clay County Historical Society, Clay County Farm Bureau, Clay County Republican Women, Clay County Hospital Auxiliary and Flora Garden Club.

She is survived by two brothers, Harold STANFORD and his wife, Sara, of Flora, and Carroll STANFORD and his wife, Vivian, of Campbell, CA; one sister, Frances BONES, of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.

She was born April 23, 1932, in Xenia, the daughter of Everett and Helen (Akes) Carrell.

Imogene was an avid gardener, spending countless hours canning and making the food that her family would eat throughout the winter. She was especially fond of making and eating canned sweet pickles. She was a member of the Xenia United Methodist Church where she belonged to the ladies sewing group. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, having always made all of her childrens clothing and numerous quilts that she had gifted over the years. She enjoyed working puzzles, crossword puzzles, and word searches. Imogene enjoyed going to community events and listening to music, playing her Baldwin organ, and playing card and board games with her grandkids. She was always the go-to babysitter and cherished memories made while spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her children: Joyce (Pat) ODonnell of Xenia, Peggy (Randy) Borcherding of Xenia, Jo Ella (D.J.) Delak of Leighton, Alabama; 6 grandchildren: Angela (Frank) Edwards of Xenia, Lee (Brooke) ODonnell of Flora, Jason (Erin) Borcherding of Flora, Gina (Cory) Heuerman of Flora, Scott (Shannon) Fatheree of Xenia, Jeannie Fatheree of Alabama; 17 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings: Bill, Jack, Don, and Charlie Carrell, and Ruth Phillips.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 12 noon on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with Dave Merrihew officiating. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Xenia. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 12 noon on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Clay County Cancer Crusaders and will be accepted through the funeral home. Imogene was a volunteer for the Golden Circle Nutrition Program for a number of decades. She also worked for the Red Cross blood drives and she was an election judge. Imogene enjoyed dancing and music. She also took pleasure in participating in local walk-a-thon's and playing shuffleboard.

In 1687, William Algood appeared in County Court with this guardians, who presented bond for their management of his share of his parent's estate. On 16 August 1699, William Algood petitioned the Court for the administration of the estate of his brother, John Algood.
