Mrs. Collins was born in Montezuma, In., a daughter of Thomas and Elsie Borden Cook. She came to Decatur in 1921. She married Isaac David Ratliff Sept. 3, 1921, in Decatur. He died Aug. 21, 1943. 6105 | Mrs. Golda M. Caudle 86, of Johnsonville. died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1985 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. She was the mother of Mrs. Bernard (Colleen) Talbert, of Cisne. Funeral services were held at Hosselton's Funeral Home, Cisne, with Elder Oscar Dean and Elder Alva Henson officiating. Burial followed in Harrell Cemetery near Zenith. Mrs. Caudle was born Apr. 10, 1899, in Wayne County the daughter of Ashley and Charity Cisne Vaughn. She was married to the late Bryan Caudle. Mrs. Caudle was a member of the Brush Creek RLDS Church and was a housewife. Among survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Colleen) Talbert, of Cisne, one brother, Robert Vaughn, of Anderson, Ind.; 10 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren. She was married to Owen Hasler in 1917. She is survived by her husband, Owen, a son, Harold L. of Peoria and two daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Louretta) Connor of Peoria and Mrs. Robert (LaVerne) Ulm of Noble, three brothers, Frank Badger of Clay City, Donald Badger of Murphysboro and Charles Badger of Forest Ridge Park, Illinois and seven sisters, Mrs. Mildred Kimpling of Noble, Mrs. Ada Linthicum of Gola, Mrs. Mary Ellen Toliver of Cairo, Mrs. Ruby VanBlaricum and Mrs. Shirley Ann Schnell, both of Noble, Mrs. Connie Lou Chappell of Bourbonnais and Mrs. Doris Jean Nease of Arthur. She was a member of the Glenwood Church west of Noble. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Glenwood Church with Rev. Earl Travis in charge. Interment will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, east of Olney. Visitation will begin after 5 p.m. in the Noble Chapel of the Cardascio-Easley Funeral Home at Noble and also on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral. 6110 | Mrs. Grace Inez Colclasure, daughter of John B. and Mary E. Graham, was born June 19, 1888 on a farm in Clay County, southwest of Iola where she spent her entire life. She departed this life, April 29, 1934 at the age of 45 years, 10 months and 10 days. On September 24, 1904 she united with the Primitive Baptist Church of Iola and was a faithful and loyal member. On November 15, 1911, she united in marriage to Guy H. Colclasure. Unto this union five children were born, two sons and three daughters, Pauline Shirley, Helen Genevieve and Inez Verniece, all of the children are at home. She had a sweet and kindly disposition, ever showing consideration for others. She bore her years of suffering patiently and many days before her departure she said, "if I do not get back home, the Lord will take care of me." Just before passing away she expressed her attitude toward death in these words, "I am overjoyed." Her life work was the rearing of her children. The characters her sons and daughters testify to her enabling influence and beauty and greatness of character. She was a loving wife and mother. Her devotion to her home and family endeared her to all. Those of her immediate family left to mourn her departure are her devoted husband, five children, her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Graham of Flora; three brothers, Lanis Graham and Ray Graham, both of Dieterich, Roscoe Graham of Flora, and one sister, Mrs. Dora White of Flora. One sister, Floy preceded her in death. She earned a bachelors degree in English and History from McKendree College in Lebanon, becoming the first person in her family to earn a college degree. Mrs. Gullick was a retired English teacher who began her career as a sixth-grade teacher at Mascoutah Elementary. She then taught English for the remainder of her career at Mascoutah High School, Belleville East High School, Lovington High School, Bunker Hill High School and Marissa High School. She was dedicated to doing whatever she could to help students achieve academic success and reach their greatest potential. Mrs. Gullick especially enjoyed teaching senior-level English literature. Mrs. Gullick was a member of the United Methodist Church from her early youth. Mrs. Britton was born August 14, 1938, in Muskegon, Mich., the daughter of Lyman and Yvonne Bates Dial. She married Larry W. Britton on NOvember 2, 1984 in Alexander County. She earned her RN at Cook County School of Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. She was retired from a lengthy career in psychiatric nursing from Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center. She was very well liked by everyone who knew her. She had a beautiful smile and a great sense of humor. Mrs. Britton is survived by her husband, Larry W. Britton of rural Cobden; her children, Kurt (Cindy) Pfau of Anna, Eric Pfau and friend, Patty of Anna, Jean Anne Pfau of Cheshire, Ore.; step-children, Andy (Brenda) Britton of Olney; Beth (David) Hopkins of O'Fallon and Phil (Linda) Britton of O'Fallon; grandchildren, Mark, Eric, Laura Rose, and Brandon Pfau; Claude, Jordan and Alex Write, Maeve Write; Charles, Phillip and Nathan Britton; Gus Kirchoff; Johanna and Sam Hopkins; blake and Anne Britton; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy Dial of Twin Lake, Mich. and Stella Dial (David Snelling) of Muskegon, Mich.; step-mother, Capitola Dial of Muskegon, Mich.; other relatives and many friends.
