He was born June 17, 1887 in Clay County to Henry Jackson and Eliza Jane Long Bissey. He married Minnie Inez Hosselton who died Nov. I, 1973.

Surviving are a son, Roland L., St, Petersburg, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs, Betty Ragland, Fort Worth, Texas; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at the Ingram Funeral Home Clay City with visitation. The Rev. Robert Shook will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

7804 Ray B. Broadwater, 88, of Clay City, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 at Clay County Hospital in Flora.

Ray was born November 9, 1927, the son of Russell L. Broadwater and Nettie Mae (Hawkinberry) Broadwater in Marion County, West Virginia, which was near Mannington, West Virginia. The family also lived in St. Louis, MO and Oklahoma for almost 8 years before moving to St. Elmo, IL in 1939.

Ray served in the U.S. Army Infantry - 2nd division. He married Helen Joy Lilly on October 25, 1946 and they had one daughter, Karen Lee. He later married Audrey Johnson Cook on August 2, 1968. She preceded him in death in 1978. On June 3, 1979, he married Mary Lou Robb. She survives.

Ray was a member of Clay City Christian Church and the American Legion in Flora, IL. He retired from Southwire Company in 1990.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen Lee Lunte of Nashville, IL; Stepdaughters, Diane (Gerald) Vaughn of Flora, IL, Gail (Paul) Beauchamp of Encinitas, CA, Ann Robb (Joe) Varner of Jasper, IN, and Susan Robb of Houston, TX; Stepsons, Dan Robb of Austin, TX and Steve Robb of Kingswood, TX; Stepmother, Katherine Maggard of Nashville, IL;His Half-Brother, Russell Lloyd Broadwater; Two Grandchildren, Six Great Grandchildren Seven Step-Grandchildren and Five Step-Great Grandchildren; and several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles, Carl, and Frank Broadwater.

7805 Ray B. Crackel, 93, of Clay City, died June 11, 2012 at Clay County Hospital in Flora, IL.

He was born March 12, 1919 in Clay County, the son of Walter and Bertha Bateman Crackel. He married Kathryn Holman April 20, 1943.

Ray worked as a self-employed welder at Crackel's Welding Shop. He was a member of the Clay City Methodist Church, American Legion, and Masonic Lodge.

During World War II, Ray served in the Army Air Corps.

He was active in the community as a member of the fire department and served as town Chief for ten years. He also served as town board member and the Clay City School Board for many years.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Susan Anselowitz; sons, David and Richard Crackel; sister, Sadie Esser; brother, Harold Crackel; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rowena Miller.

The funeral service was held at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with burial in the Clay City Cemetery with military rites.

7806 Ray D. Thomas, 96, of Tuscola died at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 18, 2015) at home.

Ray was born on Jan. 5, 1919 outside of Olney, the son of William Perry Thomas and Dessie Otto Scherer.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Dora M. Thomas; his daughter, Sandra K. Ladd; grandson, Michael L. Ladd; his parents; brothers, Oral and Max Thomas and sister, Bernadine Wagy.

Surviving are his children, Ronald L. (Carol) Gillette, Karen E. Reed and Jill S. Thomas; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren (with twins on the way).

Ray served with the U.S. Army in World War II in both the European and Pacific theaters, attaining a field commission to second lieutenant.

After the war, he relocated to Springfield to work in the office of the Secretary of State, where he met his wife Dora. He spent the remainder of his career with Addressograph Multigraph International, from which he retired to Tuscola.

7807 Ray Dean Brooks, 58, of Ingraham, IL died at 10:55 PM Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Clay County Hospital in Flora, IL. following a motorcycle/automobile accident.

He was born on July 29, 1952 in Chicago, IL to Jasper Osmond "Pat" Brooks and Betty (Pugh) Brooks. He married Kathy Denning on April 17, 1976 in Flora, IL at the home of Kathy's mother, Nina Denning.

He was the owner/operator of "Ray's" Dent Repair and a member of the Ingraham Baptist Church.

Ray rode with the Illinois Patriot Guard and participated with the Blessing of the Bikes Sheriff's Posse. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, taking care of his friends and family, and spending time and playing with his grandkids.

He was a loving husband, father, Papaw, son, brother and uncle.

He is survived by his mother: Betty Brooks; wife: Kathy Brooks; 2 sons: Jesse and Christopher Brooks; 3 grandchildren: Landon, Connor and Aiden; 3 sisters: Eva Hostettler, Linda Kessler, and Patsy Gothard; 3 brothers: James, Tom, and Randy Brooks; brother-in-law: David Denning; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and sister (Donna Jean Brooks).

Funeral services were held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora.

Following services, in accordance with Ray's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with private interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Illinois Patriot Guard or Disabled Veterans of America.

7808 Ray Dean Taylor, 73, of Olney, died at 6:50 a.m. Thursday Oct. 8, 1987 at the Richland Memorial Hospital.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers Funeral Home, Olney. Burial will be in the Crest Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday (tonight).

Mr. Taylor was born Sept. 16, 1914 in Noble, the son of Clausen and Katherine (Mitchell) Taylor. He married Bernadine Thatcher on Feb. 15, 1940, who survives.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Olney Church of Christ.

Other survivors include one son, Gene of Parkersburg; one daughter, Mrs. James (Phyllis) Lemons of Olney; three brothers, Thomas and Estes of Noble and Carl of Bonne Terre, Mo.; one sister, Cleon Taylor of Noble; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

7810 Ray Harbin, 77, of Clay City, IL died April 12, 2005, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Mr. Harbin was born November 11, 1927, in Wheatland, IN, the son of Mason and Edna Rusk Harbin. He married Jeanne VanDyke September 3, 1997 in Clay City.

He was an operating engineer for J. W. Rudy Co. in Clay City and a member of Local #840 in Terre Haute, IN.

He was a Navy veteran, a member of Sailor Springs American Legion, and was an avid mushroom and coon hunter.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Rick; a daughter, Cathy Stout; five sisters, Betty Garbers, Catherine Cockerel, Martha Pearce, Mary Rosborough; and four step-children; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, twin children, Joyce Kay and Johnny Ray; infant son, Rodney Gay, and a brother, Johnny Harbin.

Graveside services with military rites were held at the Clay City Cemetery.

Frank and Bright Funeral Home in Flora was in charge.

7811 Ray Montgomery, 16, of Bement was instantly killed last Saturday night, Sep --, 1921 when he was struck by an Interurban car at Clark Siding four miles south of Monticello. He had been working for James Palmer, a farmer who lives near the scene of the accident. He was waiting to board the car to go to his home in Bement to spend Sunday. He is supposed to have fallen asleep while waiting for the car. The body was badly mangled. The crew of the car took the remains on to Bement. Inquest was held on Sunday by F. D. Duvall, in the absence of Coroner Porter; jury returned what is known as an "open verdict" fixing no responsibility for the accident. MONTGOMERY, Ray (I40776)

He is survived by his wife, Hazel of 46 years; his daughter, Donna Kay and her husband, Don; his son, Joseph Denucci and his granddaughter, Dianne Boyer and children. He leaves behind many grandchildren and great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Louisa (Pettyjohn) Brainard; 3 sisters, Minnie, Bessie and Pansy; 2 brothers, Fay and Marvin; son, Jerry L. Brainard; his granddaughter, Shelly VanMatre and grandson Christopher Brainard.
He will be greatly missed by the ones he left behind.

7813 Ray was a graduate of Flora High School and served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked at J.C. Borah Motor Sales, Sparton Manufacturing, First National Bank, and retired from World Color Press in Effingham after 23 years. He was an active member in his church, St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, and was a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus for years.

He was an avid sports fan and loved coaching his son’s ball teams. He also loved watching his Chicago Bears, Fighting Irish, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was known for his love of gardening and raised strawberries for many years. He loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time teaching his sons to hunt and fish and enjoyed his fall trips to the river with his daughter looking for hickory nuts.

7815 Raymond "Butch" Sharp, 91, of Clay City, died on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Flora Health Care Center.

Butch was born on June 9, 1929 in Clay City, Illinois the son of Benjamin Franklin and Anna Francis (Gregg) Sharp. He married Florene (Tackitt) Payne, and she preceded him in death on April 7, 2013.

Butch is survived by his son, Benny Sharp of Clay City; son, Allen Sharp of Clay City; son, Dylan Sharp of Flora; daughter, Sarah Williams and husband Darren of Flora; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first and second wives; daughter, Darbie Sharp; son, Dennis Sharp; son, Jerry Sharp.

Memorials can be made to the family.

A Funeral Service will be held for Butch at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Clay City, with a visitation beginning one hour prior.

Interment will follow at Clay City Cemetery.

7816 Raymond "Ike" Rosenlieb, 48, passed away very suddenly Friday night Sept. 22, 1967, at the family residence in Holyrood, Kansas. He was a former resident of Olney and Clay City. Mr. Rosenlieb was born in Monroe County, Ohio, the son of August Rosenlieb and Viola Forester Rosenlieb. He was at the time of his death the Production Superintendent of the Sohio Oil Company. He had been employed by the company for 24 years. Mr. Rosenlieb was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Placillin, Kansas, a veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion at Holyrood, Kansas and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Yazoo City, Miss.He was married to Edyth Collins at St. Charles, Mo., on April 18, 1941. She survives him. Also surviving are three children: Larry Ray Rosenlieb, now serving with the U. S. Navy, Susan and Kathy Rosenlieb, both at home. He has one grandchild. Other survivors are his mother, Mrs. Viola Rosenlieb of New Matamoras, Ohio, and the following brothers and sisters: Wilbert and Clifford, both of Toronto, Ohio, Edward and Paul, both of Clay City, Floyd of Pauls Valley, Okla., Charles of Casper, Wyo., Shirl of Sardis, Ohio, Mrs. Edwin Pearce of Wierton, W. 7817 Raymond "Ray" L. Hinterscher Sr., age 75 Of Dieterich, IL passed away at 5:05 PM Monday, April 2, 2012 at Evergreen Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Effingham, IL.

Ray was born on January 9, 1937 in Clay County, IL the son of Lawrence and Gwendolyn (Ash) Hinterscher. He married Betty Price on August 31, 1960 in Lerna, IL and she survives.

Ray was a history teacher and taught school at Montrose and Dieterich for 35 years. He was a member of the Ingraham Christian Church. Ray was an outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events.

Ray is survived by:Wife of 51 years – Betty Hinterscher of Dieterich, IL 3 Children – Ray Hinterscher, Jr., Eugene Hinterscher, Penny Phipps, 5 Grandchildren – Benjamin Phipps, Courtney Phipps, Cody Hinterscher, Dalton Hinterscher and Katie Hinterscher.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents and a half brother, Charles Hinterscher.

Services celebrating Ray's life will be held on 10:00 AM Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Ingraham Christian Church in Ingraham, IL.

Private burial will be in the Hinterscher Family Cemetery in rural Ingraham, IL following the service.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Blake-Wright Funeral Home in Dieterich, IL.

There will also be visitation ½ hour before the service in the church.

7821 Raymond F. Rinehart Jr., 59, of Xenia, IL died at 1:00 PM Monday, June 22, 2009 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

He was born October 6, 1949 in Xenia, IL to Raymond F. Rinehart Sr. & Pauline (Johnson) Rinehart.

He worked at Hella in Flora, was a member of Flora Assembly of God, and enjoyed being with his grandchildren.

Mr. Rinehart is survived by his daughter: Shannon Kessel & husband Randy of Xenia; other children: Ryan, Miranda & Andrew Robinson of Flora; 4 grandchildren: Dwight & Dylan Casolari and Kyra & Jamie Kessel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter (Kathy Jo Rinehart), 1 brother (Gary Rinehart), and 3 sisters (Judy & Linda Rinehart and Nellie Martin). He was the sole surviving child, all the other Rinehart children were killed in a train car accident with Jas. Martin .

7822 Raymond G. “Bus” Foreman, age 82, of Sailor Springs, Illinois, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Clay County Hospital.

Born on June 13, 1942, in Louisville, he was the son of Willard B. and Dorothy Merle (Pickens) Foreman. On January 26, 1963, he married Geraldine Brown, and together they celebrated over 61 years of marriage.

Bus had worked in the oil field in his younger years before working as an auto mechanic and owning and operating Foreman’s Garage in Sailor Springs. He enjoyed building and restoring old cars and motorcycles, and could fix just about anything. He wouldn’t give up on a project no matter how long it would take.

He enjoyed fishing at Newton Lake, riding motorcycles, and playing cards, even though he rarely managed to beat Geraldine. In his later years, Bus found joy in relaxing and watching “Gunsmoke” and other classic TV Westerns. Above all, the time he was able to spend with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him a lot of happiness.

Bus is survived by his wife: Geraldine Foreman of Sailor Springs; son-in-law: Ron Goldstein of Flora; 3 grandchildren: Carrie Goldstein of Flora, Isaac (Claudia) Goldstein of Xenia, and Dawson Goldstein of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 3 great-grandchildren: Tucker Childers of Flora, Hadley Childers of Flora, and Jameson Goldstein of Xenia; 2 sisters: Mona Tokos of Malvern, Ohio, and Marla Foreman of Flora; a special niece: Tonya (Allen) Bonham of Xenia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Gerri Lynn “Prudy” Goldstein; 2 brothers: Gregory Neil “Grubby” Foreman and Willard Brent “Maverick” Foreman; a sister: Marjorie Holland; parents-in-law: William Ricie and Lois M. Brown; 2 brothers-in-law: Rex and Donnie Brown; and 2 sisters-in-law: Annabelle Barnard and Judy C. Powless.

7827 Raymond Russell Real, 63, of Biloxi, Miss., formerly of Richland County, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 1997, in Biloxi.

Services were Friday at Riemann Funeral Home in Biloxi, Miss. Entombment was in the Southern Memorial Park mausoleum in Biloxi, Miss. Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of local arrangements.

Real was born June 28, 1933, in Noble, the son of Omar and Dorthy (Benson) Real. He married Geneva Real.

He was a watch repairman and worked for 29 years at Busch's Jewelry in Biloxi and Gulfport, Miss.

He is survived by his mother, of Lewistown, his wife, of Biloxi; one son, Rusty Real, of Biloxi; one daughter, Faye Ellen Real, of Biloxi; one grandchild, Tiffany Nicole Real, of Biloxi; and one sister, Roberta Faye Caldwell, of Lewistown.

He was preceded in death by his father.

7828 Raymond V. Chaplin, 51, of Brookhaven, Mississippi, formerly of Richland County, has been missing since Friday April 16, 1976 and is presumed drowned following an oil rig accident in the Gulf of Mexico. He was reported missing at 6 a.m. on that date, while he was working on a rig about 40 miles off the coast of Venice, La.

Mr. Chaplin, an employee of the Diamond M. Drilling Co., had gone below the rig to check equipment and was to have radioed a report at 6 a.m. When his report was not received, a search was started by the U.S. Coast Guard and oil company crews, with negative results.

Mr. Chaplin was a 1942 graduate of Olney Township High School and entered the U.S. Army Air Corps after graduation during World War II.After the war, he worked in oil fields in this area for about three years and went to Oklahoma, where he lived in Chickasha and worked in oil fields there. For a three-year period, about 1959-1962, he returned to Richland County, then moved to Mississippi about 1962, working on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. He had been an employee of the Diamond M. Co. the past six years.

He was formerly a member of the First Methodist Church in Olney and was a member of the Easthaven Baptist Church in Brookhaven, Miss.

7829 Raymond Vaughn Boose, 106 of Louisville passed away at 9:50 am on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at his home in Louisville.

He was born on April 23, 1912 in Bible Grove, the son of the late Loam and Gertrude (Fopay) Boose. Raymond married Loma McCollum on April 12, 1941 in Wood River, IL and she preceded him in death on October 15, 1991. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. At the time of his death, Mr. Boose was the oldest living veteran in the state of Illinois.

Raymond was the superintendent of maintenance and transportation at the North Clay School District and is remembered fondly as the bus driver for many students over the years. He was also a craftsman and carpenter. He was a 50 year Master Mason at Flora Lodge #204 and a member of the Louisville American Legion Post #914. He enjoyed looking for arrowheads, loved hunting and fishing, St. Louis Cardinal baseball and was very involved in his family. He enjoyed spending time with all of the children and grandchildren. Raymond was a good man and loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by three sons; Bob Ed (Tammy) Boose of Xenia, Mike Boose of Frostproof, FL and Stuart (Cindy) Boose of Louisville, two daughters; Debbie (George) Cammon of The Woodlands, TX and De Ann (Andy) Miller of Marshall, IL and a total of 100 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and by several nieces, nephews and good friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Vaughn Boose Jr., two sisters; Beldora Leach and Bonnie Thelma Boose, a brother; Ed Boose and by a granddaughter, Kristen Miranda Boose.

Private graveside services honoring the life of Raymond will be conducted at Orchard Hill Cemetery in Louisville where military rites will be accorded. Bro. Tim Van Dyke will officiate. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Triplett & Neal Funeral Home in Louisville from 6 until 8:00 pm. Masonic Rites will be conducted at 8:00 pm. 7831 Raymond ‘Bob’ Abbott, 66. of Clay City, passed away at the Richland Memorial Hospital. Mr. Abbott had been a patient in the Burgin Nursing Homes in Olney for the past nine years.

Funeral services will be held in the Easley - Padgett Funeral Home
with Rev. Barney Meadows in charge. Burial will be at Clay City cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Mr. Abbott was born near Noble, son of the late George and Laura Taylor Abbott. He had moved to Clay City as a young man and engaged in teaming. Before his illness and retirement, he had been employed as a teamster by the Pure Oil Co.

He was preceded in death by his wife.

He is survived by three sons, Lloyd and Albert of Clay City, and William of Elgin; and two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Cailteaux of Clay City and Mrs. Katie Brown of St. Charles, IL. Two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Bryan of Olney and Mrs. Agnes Miller of Noble survive, as well as two half-brothers, George and Harold Abbott, both of Clay City. Two half-sisters, Mrs. Genelle Hance and Mrs. Lorena DeHart of Clay City also survive. Two step-brothers, Albert Wilson of Clay City and Harry Wilson of Olney also survive, as well as a stepsister, Mrs. Viola Williams of Clay City also survive. He also leaves eight grandchildren.

7833 Rebecca "Becky" Decker, 76, of Wooster, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Wooster Community Hospital.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.

Becky was born May 26, 1935 in Peru, Ind., to James J. and Catherine (Harding) King, and married Neil Decker in 1963. He died previously.

She was the owner of Loggers Inn, Sorceress Lounge, and Becky's Gemini Lounge. After her retirement in 2005, she worked part-time at Nold Avenue Bar.

Becky was a member of the Eagles, enjoyed reading and her animals. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Becky will be deeply missed by children, Lori Sanderson and Christi (Dave) Boley, both of Wooster, Don (Cheryl) Abernathy of Fredericksburg, Mike Abernathy of Dalton and Randy Abernathy of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry (Linda) Ellis of Akron; and sisters, Vicki Johnson and Kathy Denny, both of Wooster.

She was preceded in death by her husband Neil; her parents; sisters, Nancy Dixon, Sharon Poindexter and Dana Wright; a son-in-law, Donnie Sanderson; and a daughter-in-law, Nini Abernathy.

7834 Rebecca Ann "Becky" Thomas, 68, of Noble, died at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Noble. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Bill L. Wiggs Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Hanna Cemetery in rural Noble.

Mrs. Thomas was born on November 6, 1940, in Richland County, the daughter of Vern and Mina (Campbell) Patterson. She married George Thomas on February 17, 1962. He survives.

She was a homemaker and was very active with Special Olympics.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband, George Thomas, of Noble; daughter, Terri Waggoner and her fiancé, Brian Bailey, of Odin, Ind.; son, Troy Thomas, of Noble; son, Tim Thomas, of Noble; son, Derek Patton and his wife, Angie, of Olney; grandson, Logan Thomas USAF, Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo.; grandson, Rylan Thomas, of Noble; grandson, Brandon Thomas, of Shipman; granddaughter, Cameron Patton, of Olney; brother, Gene Patterson, of Olney; brother, Sam Patterson, of Georgia; sister, Cordia Hunley, of Olney; and sister, Nancy Seibert, of Terre Haute, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Patterson; brothers, Andy and Vern Patterson; and half-sister, Eleanor Middleton.

7835 Rebecca Ann “Becky” Hildebrand, 77, of Fairfield, passed away at 2:46pm on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
Becky was born on April 22, 1947, in Mt. Vernon, IL to Viril and Genevieve (Urban) Cummingham.
Becky met Larry Hildebrand while attending high school in Clay City, IL, married him on June 6, 1964, and enjoyed 52 wonderful years together until Larry’s passing in 2016. Becky and Larry ventured to live and work in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles before returning to Fairfield to raise their family in her ancestral home built in the early 1870s.
She doted on her boys, was actively involved in their grade school, high school and church activities, tirelessly supporting sports and scholastic ventures. She did all of this while working jobs at Cousin Fred’s, Fairfield National Bank, Circus Video and Boyleston Waterworks and always flawlessly running and ably managing the household. Becky was an active member of the First Christian Church in Fairfield. She was full of compassion, very devoted to her faith and love of Jesus Christ, and strove to exemplify that in her everyday life, always ready to help anyone in need. She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed gardening, nature and the mountains. She loved her sons, their wives, her grandsons and many pets beyond measure. Becky had an infectious laugh, a huge, welcoming smile and a calm, commanding, reassuring presence. She will be truly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is survived by her two sons, Bryan (Laura) Hildebrand of Fort Collins, CO, and Lee (Cara) Hildebrand of Cookeville, TN, grandsons Theron and Cyrus Hildebrand, her sister Linda Lou Cheatham of Sarasota, FL, her brother-in-law Terry (Alvena) Hildebrand of Louisville, IL, and sisters-in-law Jackie Farris of Olney, and Betty Sue (Jeff) Clow of Effingham.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry, her parents Viril and Genevieve Cunningham, her sister Janet Stark and brother Gene Cunningham.
Per Becky’s request, her body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, July 13th at the First Christian Church in Fairfield. Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at the church. There will be no formal burial at this time. Memorial donations can be made to the Feed My Sheep soup kitchen and will be accepted during the services or at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
