She was of the Christian faith, took great care in making her home a welcoming place, and enjoyed sewing and craftingg. She had worked for the International Shoe Factory, was a waitress, and was a caretaker of both the young and the elderly. During the last 30 years she enjoyed traveling with Glen to places like Hawaii and Puerto Rico, and throughout the United States. Delta enjoyed visitors in her home and believed "the more the merrier."
