Their wedding was announced in the following unidentified newspaper article: Gray-McDowell Miss Leona Gray, daughter of Mrs. Mary Gray, and Adrian McDowell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayson McDowell, were married at the home of J.M. Kidwell in Louisville, Friday night. Mr. Kidwell performed single ring ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gray were their attendants. The bride was attired in a gray suit with black accessories.
