Notes - Services for Eldon Oaster, 69, of Noble were Wednesday, June 18, 1986, at the Glenwood Chapel in Noble. Burial in the Hanna Cemetery in rural Noble, the Rev. Bill Rennels officiating. Visitation tonight at the Hosselton-Bookhout-Englemeier Funeral Home also in Noble.
Mr. Oaster died 8:10 a.m. Monday, June 16, 1986 at the Richland Memorial Hospital.
He was born to Benjamin Oaster and Grace Knowles on October 8, 1916 in Ingraham. He married Pauline Hasler on March 27, 1941 in St. Charles, Missouri, who survives.
He was president of the West Richland school board in 1965. A member of the school board from 1963 to 1968. Oaster was a retired farmer and a member of the Glenwood Church.
In addition to his wife, his survivers include two sons, Larry of Collinsville and John of Mt. Zion; one daughter, Mrs. June Bearden, Piedmont, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Scamahorn and Maybel Lauderbach of Flora, Mrs. Mary Short of Olney; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
