Honorably discharged as a Corporal on August 14, 1946 at the Marine Separation Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. Earned the American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, and the Marine version of the Navy Occupation Service Medal (Japan).
