    • Ray Dean Taylor, 73, of Olney, died at 6:50 a.m. Thursday Oct. 8, 1987 at the Richland Memorial Hospital.

      Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers Funeral Home, Olney. Burial will be in the Crest Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday (tonight).

      Mr. Taylor was born Sept. 16, 1914 in Noble, the son of Clausen and Katherine (Mitchell) Taylor. He married Bernadine Thatcher on Feb. 15, 1940, who survives.

      He was a retired farmer and a member of the Olney Church of Christ.

      Other survivors include one son, Gene of Parkersburg; one daughter, Mrs. James (Phyllis) Lemons of Olney; three brothers, Thomas and Estes of Noble and Carl of Bonne Terre, Mo.; one sister, Cleon Taylor of Noble; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
