    • Mrs. Rosa Dunahee, 95, of Clay City, died at 1:50 p.m. January 24, 1974, in the Burgin Manor at Olney.

      She was born in Clay County on March 22, 1878. She was baptized at the age of 15 in the Sailor Springs Christian Church and became a member of the Clay City Methodist Church on March 3, 1930.

      She was united in marriage to William L. Dunahee on October 28, 1896 at Fairfield. Her husband preceded her in death on April 18, 1926 and one daughter, Zora Mae Died in infancy.

      Following her husband's death, she resided in the family home at Clay City until she was 90 years of age.

      Surviving are four sons, Pearl of Olney; Ivan of Calhoun, Hancle of Clay City; and Jefferson of Collinsville; five daughters, Mrs. Edna Wease and Mrs. Mary Wease, both of Noble; Mrs. Pansy Carroll of Olney, Mrs. Avis Eikleberry of Wapella, and Mrs. Ruby Tonn of Flora and one brother, Fred Ross of Orlando, Florida. She had 32 grandchildren, 90 great-grandchildren and a number of great-great-grandchildren.

      Funeral services, with Rev. S. L. Milner of the Clay City Methodist Church, were held in the Cardascio-Easley Funeral Chapel at Clay City on January 27 with interment in the Clay City Cemetery.
