    • Albert Chapman Maglone died Sunday, June 24, 1979, at Villa Feliciana Geriatric Hospital in Jackson. He was 84, a native and resident of Slaughter. He was a retired dairy farmer and a veteran of World War I.

      Survived by three nephews, C. Bernard, Gordon R. and Todd Y. Maglone, all of Slaughter; and a niece, Mrs. Willie E. McNabb.

      Preceded in death by a brother, Clay Bernard Maglone; a sister, Ada Belle Maglone; and a nephew, Tommy Maglone.

      He was a member of The Plains Presbyterian Church and served on the East Feliciana Police Jury Ward 1, from 1953-1966.
