  Famie Pearl Payne, 85, of Olney, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, IL. She was born on December 10, 1931 in Clay City, IL, the daughter of Henry and Maude (Payne) Gray. She married Earl Edwin Payne on January 11, 1953 in Clay City, IL. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2006. Famie managed the Oddfellows campground in Clay City for two years. She enjoyed playing bingo and being around people. Famie is survived by her daughter, Earlene (Dave) Cunningham; son, David Wayne Payne; grandchildren, Jason (Shana) Cunningham and Aaron Cunningham; great-grandchildren, Avalyn and Donevan; sister, Clarabelle Kittle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Ralph, Johnny, Eugene, and Ray Dean Gray. Memorials can be made to American Diabetes Association.
