  Janet Schnell Larson, 50, of Mattoon and formerly of Noble, died at 4:28 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2009, at the residence of her parents in Noble. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Dr. Woodrow Martin officiating. Cremation rites were accorded. Ms. Larson was born July 14, 1959, in Olney, the daughter of Doyle and Nonie (Hall) Schnell. She was a Dial-a-ride dispatcher for Coles County Council on Aging, Inc. She was affiliated with the Christian Church and a member of the Liberty Chapter of A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois. Ms. Larson is survived by her parents, Doyle and Nonie Schnell; son, Zachary Fatheree; grandson, Landon Fatheree; forever loving and devoted life friend, Steve "Hop" Hopper; sister, Linda Smith; sister, Debbie Martin; nieces; nephews; numerous aunts; uncles; cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lester and Effie Schnell, Robert and Freda Hall, and niece, Julie Martin Koch. Visitation was at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. A memorial service was held at the funeral home with Dr. Woodrow Martin officiating. Cremation rites were accorded. Olney Daily Mail.
