  Minnie worked 25 years at Richland Memorial Hospital starting out as a nurse's aide, working in several departments, and had attended the Assembly of God church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, cooking and baking homemade meals, taking care of dogs, and playing the harmonica. Her real joy in life was her grandchildren and in 2003 Minnie was chosen Clay County Greatest Grandma.
