• Notes

  Cecil Staser of Clay City died at Clay County Hospital, Flora, IL. She was born in Clay County, the daughter of David & Bertha Patridge Murbarger. She married Robert D. Staser on March 17, 1932. He preceded her in death in January of 1978. She was a retired cook from the Clay City Grade School and was a member of the Clay City United Methodist Church. She taught Queen Esther Sunday School Class and attended Clay City United Methodist Church Quilting Club. Mrs. Staser is survived by a daughter, Patricia Workman; two sons, William and Robert Staser; a special friend, A. J. Crown; brothers Eath Murbarger & Neal Murbarger; 10 grandchildren & eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three children, seven brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held at the Clay City United Methodist Church with burial in the Clay City Cemetery. (Published Olney Daily Mail)
