    • Ruth Hawley, 59, Oblong, died last Thursday in her home.

      Services were held in the Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong.

      Mrs. Hawley was born Oct. 28, 1922 in Noble, the daughter of Charles and Dora (Denning) Hance. She married John Hawley in 1946 and he survives.

      She was a member of Dogwood United Methodist Church in Oblong.

      Other survivors include a son, Monty, Robinson; a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Carla) Griffith, Glenwood; two brothers, Leslie Hance, Noble; Paul Hance, Peoria; four sisters, Mrs. Ken (Wanda) Fessler, Noble;
      Mrs. Mewis (Evelyn) Delonshaw, Clay City; Mrs. Harold (Stella) Smith, Clay City; and Mrs. Georgia Leifers, Argenta; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
