  He was the son of Carroll Dryden and Allene Evans Conley Duff. He married Ginger Osborn in Ingraham on October 14, 1955. He was the father of Carroll Dean and Kimberly Sue Duff. Grandfather of Braxton and Preston French. He attended Clay City Baptist church and was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, Ducks Unlimited and past Clay City Volunteer Fireman, serving over 30 years. Charles D. Duff, 65, of Clay City, died at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2002, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday,April 27, at the Frank and Bright Funeral Home, Flora, IL. Burial was in the Clay City Cemetery, Clay City, IL.
