| Notes |
- He came to America in the year 1845 and with his parents, four brothers and two sisters, located in Taylor township, Greene County, Indiana, where he spent the remainder of his life.
Mr. Hasler was formerly a member of the German Lutheran church, but later united with the M. E. church at Scotland under the pastorate of Rev. George ASBURY. He was a good father, a kind husband, and a faithful christian. During his last illness, though many times suffering intense agony, he was ever patient and uncomplaining. Realizing that his end was near he expressed himself that all was well and that "it was all right."
