  	She died as a result of a tragic accident June 6, 1938 in Sailor Springs. Mr. Kesterson had been cultivating in the field when he was summoned by Mrs. Kesterson who needed him at home. When he arrived he tied the team of horses to the garden fence and for some unknown reason the team suddenly broke away from the fence and circled the barn lot. Mrs. Kesterson was standing in front of a parked auto for protection from the runaways when the team, dragging the cultivator, swung it around striking the rear of the car and pulling it up over her. The car struck the victim, she fell with her limbs being forced up between the axle and springs, her body twisted as she suffered what would prove to be fatal injuries.
