- Darrel Phillips, 45, 900 Willow St., Kewanee, IL formerly of Ingraham, died at 9:25 a.m. on September 20, 1990 in University Hospital, Iowa City, IA.
Local arrangements are being handled by Hosselton, Bookhout, Engelmeier Funeral Home in Clay City. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. on Sept. 22 and services will be on sept. 23 in Clay City at 3:30 p.m. with Bro. Gary Hostettler presiding. Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery in Olney.
Mr. Phillips was born on January 21, 1945 in Olney, son of the late Lawrence and Vernadine (Dressler) Phillips. He married Constance (Connie) D. Murbarger on July 23, 1967 in Noble. She survives in Kewanee.
Mr. Phillips was a Product Service Manager at Kewanee Farm Equipment Division of Allied for 11 years. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Kewanee. He is also a Vietnam War Army Veteran.
Surviving in addition to his wife are son John L., a foster son Jimmy and a foster daughter Annee, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Neal (Carol June) Murbarger, Mrs. Bill (Minerva) Mitchell, both in Ingraham, Mrs. Greg (Connie) Kuenstler in Olney and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
