- Ronald Reigh Boose, age 73, of Elburn, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva.
He was born in Olney, Illinois, the son of Ralph and Muriel (Rowan) Boose.
Ron graduated from St. Charles High School in 1965. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Ron was the owner/operator of Repete Plastic in Geneva. He loved to tend to his garden, mow the lawn and loved to watch baseball, especially the Chicago White Sox. Ron coached and refereed baseball, girls softball and basketball in the tri-cities. However, his greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family and friends. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years Jenny; children Robin (Jim) Olsen of Elburn, Anthony (Danelle) of Naperville, Michelle (Joel) Kramer of St. Charles; mother Muriel Boose; grandchildren McKenna, Kerrigan, Avery, and Asher Boose; Anya, Jonathan, and Rose Kramer; Logan, James, Hunter, and Evangeline Olsen; and many other dear relatives and friends.
Ronald is proceeded in death by his father and brother Donald Boose.
Visitation for Ronald will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Malone Funeral Home 324 East State Street (Rt 38) Geneva, Illinois from 4:00 pm until the time of his Funeral Service at 7:00 pm with Pastor Ron Weidler officiating.
Interment is private at Oak Hill Cemetery in Geneva.
Due to the current health care restrictions, standards of occupancy will be upheld at the funeral home. To attend please be prepared to wear a mask and/or wait if occupancy standards need to be met before entering. We kindly ask that you immediately exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that others may have the same opportunity.
