  James E. "Jim" Norton, 62, of Louisville, IL, died December 28, 2005, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Mr. Norton was born October 16, 1943 in Clay City, the son of William Henry and Julia Ann Handley Norton. He married Lana K. Bryan November 4, 1967 in Clay City. He was employed for 32 years for the City of Flora Street Department. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jim Norton; a brother, Sam Norton; a sister, Jean Ann Foster; two granddaughters; and one great-grandson. Preceding him in death were his parents, a daughter, Shari, and two brothers, Alvis and Bill. Funeral services were held at Frank and Bright Funeral Home with burial in Clay City Cemetery.
