  Daniel Lee "D.A." McDannel, 46, of Flora, died at 6:56 a.m. Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Good Samaritan RHC in Mount. Vernon. He was born June 16, 1963 in Clay County, to Ray and Marion (Wyman) McDannel. He married Shari Norton and she preceded him in death. He worked as a roofer. He is survived by his father: Ray McDannel of Xenia; mother: Marion Wyman of Flora; daughter: Karissa McDannel of Clay City; maternal grandmother: Helen Wyman of Flora; brother: Doug McDannel of Kingston, Tenn.; two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and three grandparents. A memorial service took place at 8 p.m., Monday, May 10, 2010 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home with visitation from 6 from 8 p.m. on Monday.
