  She professed faith in Jesus Christ over 50 years ago and united with the Asbury M.E. Church, where she kept her membership until death, althought since moving to Olney nine years ago she attended the West Main Christian church occasionally, as it has been her preference in later years. She fell and broke her hip six weeks ago, then developed pneumonia. One month ago, her only brother, Quintes Burnell preceded her in death. "Weep not that her toils are over, Weep not that her race is run, God grant that we may rest as calmly, When our work , like hers, is done; 'Til then we yield with gladness, And rest in the sweet assurance, He giveth; his beloved ones sleep."
